The light is getting brighter!!
So a few weeks back I passed my written exit exam! Yay! What a weight off my shoulders! I can't even explain it adequately. My biggest fear (a completely paralyzing, terrifying fear) has been working so hard these last two years after having given up a good career in the Air Force, and then not graduating. And losing a ton of money in the process. The thought of that still give me shivers. But the light is getting brighter! So now, as long as I don't get senioritis and pass my classes, I will GRADUATE!! Dec 12! I'm very excited. This program has been a lot of hard work for me...it will definitely be worth it. I am definitely feeling itchy to be a productive member of society again! But in the meantime I will enjoy these online classes this semester while I have them...waking up and doing my classes online in my pajamas...not such a bad gig! :)

Exit Exams!!!
Wow, so my oral and practical exit exams were terrifying. We sit in front of two teachers, answer a bunch of questions for 20 minutes on anything that we have studied the last 2 years, then have to perform some techniques for 20 minutes on one of the teachers who is acting like a (difficult) patient, then they ask you to leave the room and call you back in to get the results. I really thought I would have to retake it when I was waiting in the hallway for their verdict. It was intense and stressful and hard. They called me back in and started giving me feedback, then asked how I thought I did. Wow, what a question...gulp...I was honest and said I thought I would be retaking it. They both quickly repsponded "But you aren't". Me: "I'm not?...(shock)...I'm not(elation!)". Then one of the teachers told me that I am my own worst critic. Probably True. What a horrifying experience these exit exams were. I can take people yelling at me all day or making me run around and do physical exertion, but this was WAY more stressful for me. Glad its over! Glad I passed!!! yay. Still have to pass the written exit exam and a whole semester, but Graduation is starting to feel a little more real!!! :)
